Preparing Now for US (& Global) University Admission

University admissions criteria vary dramatically from one country to the next – and from one type of program to the next.

Consequently, what your children do in the years before applying may be a great help in getting into one university, but of limited (or no) value in getting into another.

This presentation will examine in detail what it takes to gain admission to leading universities around the world, and what can be done in advance to improve your children’s chances.

There will be ample time for questions during and after the presentation.

Speaker Bio:

Richard Montauk received a BA in literature from Brown University, an MA in government from Harvard University, an MS in finance, and a JD from Stanford Law School. Pursuant to a graduate fellowship, he also studied at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (University of London).

After graduating from Stanford Law School, he worked as a corporate lawyer for Latham & Watkins, then as a corporate strategy consultant for Bain & Co. in London, before devoting himself full-time to admissions consulting. 

Since 1991, he has consulted to candidates for the world’s top universities, for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

While still an undergraduate at Brown University, Richard was also the head coach of the women’s varsity track & field team.
