Planning a Positive Postpartum Class POSTPONED

You just gave birth and now it’s time to leave the maternity and take your new baby home – Now what? What will life with a newborn really be like? Will the family be able to sleep? What should I be eating? How do I get support without my family or friends near me? These are just some of the questions that new parents face when baby arrives home.

Taking time to plan your ideal postpartum can help to answer these questions and more. You created your birth plan but why not create a plan for when baby arrives.

The ‘Planning a Positive Postpartum’ workshop is for pregnant parents-to-be to do just that – to create their postnatal plan so that you have a smooth transition to parenthood.   The workshop provides practical information on how to prepare for and write a plan for a positive postpartum. Topics include:

· Rest & Physical Recovery

· Mental Health

· Nourishment

· Family Sleep

· Relationship & Social Support

It is open to Message members and non-members (for an additional fee). The workshop will be held virtually.
